In my second summer at GeoBC, I Independently researched and implemented new methods for storing archival geospatial data on Amazon S3, served via GeoServer. Additionally, I developed an ArcGIS Pro tool in Python to automate the comparison of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) roads and address points.

• Designed a scalable archival system, optimizing storage and retrieval of over 20TB of geospatial data.
• Developed a Python tool that automated the comparison of roads and address points, ensuring compliance with new NG911 standards.

Weather Data Analyst

Avenue Road Property Management

At Avenue Road, my role is to aggregate and analyze historical and forecast weather data using Python (pandas) to produce weekly reports, including detailed weather and snow forecasts.

• Delivered 8 detailed forecasts per month, aiding in data-driven decision making for clients.
• Maintained a database of thousands of weather records, ensuring consistency and reliability for models.

During my first summer co-op at GeoBC, I developed custom tools using ArcPy and made user interfaces in ArcGIS Pro and collaborated on editing the Digital Road Atlas (DRA), vital for emergency services routing in British Columbia.
